Presentation of ‘How Stefan Stopped Spitting Pigeons’ collection of poems by Vasil Valeri Vitanov. The book is published with the kind assistance and within the framework of activities of Students’ Community Centre „St. Kliment Ohridski“ 1997 in support of Bulgarian literature and reading.
The premiere took place at 7:00 pm, on Monday, March 24, 2025, at ‘Bobina Art’, 5A Triaditsa Str, Sofia.
As per the script, the author read exactly 3 poems from the book and presented the film created for the book, directed by Viktor Ivanov. Link to the film
Roumen Barosov, editor of the book, and Karina Dobreva, designer of the book, attended the premiere. The author signed at least 39 autographs.
After Premiere:
At 6:09 pm on March 30, 2025, at Mahala Bookstore, a poetry discussion with Vasil Valeri Vitanov took place marking the release of his new book ‘How Stefan Stopped Spitting Pigeons’.
Opinions were not obligatory. The discussion allowed for explicit remarks. Most active in the conversation were young readers of what appeared to be school age.
