‘St. Kliment Ohridski’ 1997 Community Centre is a community for DANCES.
“Beli Brezi” Folklore dance club was established by the community center in 2003 and its choreographers are Miglena Korunova and Stanislav Korunov. The activities of the club include folk dance training, participation of the amateur groups of the club in national and international dance festivals and competitions. Amateur dancers of different age groups dance in “Beli Brezi” club. The club takes part in various folklore festivals and has a number of awards from participation in amateur art competitions. “Brezichki”(Birches) is the dance club’s children (age 4 to 12) formation.
Participation in national festivals: festival “Youth Creates”, festival “Summer Holidays” Koprivshtitsa, “Tupan bie, horo se vie” Kazanlak; “Folklore Meeting” with. “Sharena Stomna”, town of Kozan. Dobrinishte; “Sandanski sings and dances – Pirin swings”, amateur folklore festival “Traditional Dances in Boyana”, national festival of folk-dance clubs “From Tran there is no better”, Tran, National festival “Rila sees us”, Dupnitsa; Thracian Rosary Festival, Pazardzhik.
Participation in international festivals. “ALEGRIA DE DANZAR”, Valencia, Spain; „Kvarner Summer & Baie de Kvarner, Croatia; International Folklore Festival in Paralia, Greece; Festival Days in Duras, Albania; International Folklore Festival in Corfu, Greece; International Folklore Festival – Rimini, Italy; Kultur ve Sanat festivali Turkey.
