On December 8th 2024, at the ‘Vlaikova’ movie theatre, ‘Boyan and Petra’ short film, supported and financed by Student Community Center “St. Kliment Ohridski” 1997 pre-premiered.
Alexander Milchev, director: We made a film. And making films is a difficult privilege, bringing extreme pleasure. The idea for this one came one early morning in a hotel room in Nice, three days before New Year’s Eve. It came after a host of other ideas that had been abandoned. It came before a deadline for which it never qualified. It came late, as words usually do, like Wenders says. It came like this: ‘for people clogged with memories. Junk dealers. FOR PEOPLE WHO PRETEND NOT TO REMEMBER’. The time has come to show the film we‘ve made. The metamorphosis of an idea about all the things we don’t know didn’t happen to us, but could have.’
